Gaga opened up about depression, loneliness and drugs from her teen years.
Lady Gaga's interview "The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet" is out and it reveals the superstar's past issues like battling loneliness, depression and doing drugs.
During the interview fans could find out so much things about their idol, from what scares her to the issues she had in her teen years like feeling lonely and doing cocaine.
What scares Gaga: "Love terrifies me."
She doesn't have a home: "I'm a gypsy. I mean I quite literally don't. I'm sleeping on an air mattress in my parents home. I don't have a home.
On feeling depressed and lonely:
"I was very depressed when I was 19. I decided to pursue music, so I dropped out of school and and I told my parents I didn't want any money from them. I began to cherish my loneliness. I would go back to my apartment everyday and I would just sit there. It was quite and it was lonely. It was still. It was just my piano and myself. I had a television and I would leave it on all the time just to feel like somebody was hanging out with me."
On doing drugs:
"I started doing cocaine because it was like the drug was my friend. I never did it with other people. It's such a terrible way to fill that void, because it just adds to that void, because it's not real.
On realizing it is wrong to do drugs:
" I woke up one day and was like 'You're an a"hole. You're not an artist. If you were a real f'cking artist, you'd be focused on your music. You wouldn't be spending your money on the white devil'".
